Complete Statistics to Unit Armor/Attack Type

The following thread is aimed to share some game statistics that will help both veteran and new players to figure out the unit counter relationships in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Familiarizing with the unit counter system will help in understanding how to spend the income gold more effectively, instead of mindlessly spamming a particular set of units that pose absolutely no harm to the enemy.

Note that the following statistics is up to date with the newest version 6.2c.

List of Armor Types:

 Small Armor

  • Archer
  • Marksman
  • Jiang Dong Fire Archer
  • Nanman Crossbows
  • Juggernaut

 Medium Armor

  • Pikeman

 Normal Attack > All Cavalries, Imperial Guard, Corporal, Samurais, White Feather Warriors, Shaolin Monk, Elephant, Danyang Swords, Peasants, Nanzhong Warriors, White Bengal Tiger, Vine Armor Hoplite, Mercenary Assassin

  • 150% to Small Armor
  • 100% to Medium Armor
  • 100% to Heavy Armor
  • 70% to Fortified Armor
  • 95% to Normal Armor
  • 75% to Divine Armor
  • 100% to Hero Armor

Piercing Attack > Archers, Marksman

  • 125% to Small Armor
  • 225% to Medium Armor
  • 100% to Heavy Armor
  • 35% to Fortified Armor
  • 65% to Normal Armor
  • 50% to Divine Armor
  • 80% to Hero Armor

Magic Attack > Pikeman, Ballista

  • 100% to Small Armor
  • 100% to Medium Armor
  • 250% to Heavy Armor
  • 100% to Fortified Armor
  • 100% to Normal Armor
  • 75% to Divine Armor
  • 100% to Hero Armor

Siege Attack > Siege Catapult

  • 80% to Small Armor

Spell Attack > Catapult

  • 150% to Small Armor
