  1. Save and Load System FAQ

    What is This? This is system was developed to make base building in roleplays not only easier, but also more rewarding. It allows you to save your in-game bases as text files that can then be "translated" and automatically typed into the chat using a program. The game can then read the chat and use the values to create the units on the map. Tutorial: Before using the program, make sure you check out the Tutorial HERE. What do I need? You need an open-source python script, which you can also download as an executable here: ( SaveNLoad2.1.zip(64 bits) | SaveNLoad2.0-32bits.zip). I also made this script, so it's completely virus-free. The python script receives input from the game itself, so all you have to do is run it on the backround, no need to minimize Warcraft III. The executable requires a python 2.7 installation or Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) . Are 1.x save files compatible with the 2.x Typing Program? Yes. However, you need version 2.0 or higher of the Typing Program to read save files made in maps using version 2.0 of the Save/Load System. Commands: -save (up to 4-letter password) -request (up to 4-letter password) -load center -load center X,Y -load limit (number) => Titan Command Only Limitations: Currently, there are limitations to this system. These can be improved upon in the future, but they need an extra system to store the values, as they are not saved on the unit itself. Because of this, it would be hard for me to implement these systems on KoT, a project I was not involved in until recently. Once I've made a nice environment of systems for this in my own project, I should be able to migrate them into KoT. I can't say exactly, as King Katanova is still working on his end to get the next version out. But the system has already been implemented in the latest unprotected map. Version 2.0 still hasen't been implemented, though. Video Preview/Demos: Demo 1 | Demo 2 Can I still give my base to neutral? Yes, after you save it, all the data is already safe and you may give your base to neutral. Just don't give your stuff to neutral before saving the base, as the system will only save your own units. What if people want to load a base in the same spot? Well, then they're gonna have to figure it out amongst themselves in a (hopefully) civil manner. Not much I can do about this unfortunately The Titan can always delete griefers though.

    Hello all, this is just a quick statement regarding the overhaul over the design for the Cult of Skulls in Titan Land: Kingdoms of Terfall. Instructed by the Death God; Theda and Mardrake's teachings, the cult became a primary practitioners of Necromancy and within a vendetta against the Kingdom, amassed a huge army of Undead beings to invade their former home, with the necromancer, many other factions joined their sway until ultimately they were defeated and splintered, but where not follow destroyed."     Greetings, patriarchs of TL KoT This is just an introduction to this sub forum just to detail what you will find in here. As a request to LordSquishy, as many people notice from my work, it is pretty difficult to try and understand my lore stories despite the entirety of TL KoT following it. So i have decided on this sub-forum detailing the lore regarding certain elements of the story, such as factions, timelines and major characters.     Greetings I am King_Katanova, also these days known by The_3_Skeletons and i am the current main editor to the Titan Land Series: Kingdoms of Terfall. I have been in map editing since 2010, during my beginning still remain in Titan Land in the days of Rise of KIngdoms, were i was introduced to the Light's Dawn clan in ways i'd rather not dwell on (the original editor of the Tl version i acquired threatened lawsuit against me and wanted the clan to boycott me). It was on Light's dawn were i met Lordsquishy and became a close supporter in the unity that made Light's Dawn such a great clan during its time, but alas it fell to the sands of time. I've been invited back to this work following the current work involving TLKoT's 3.0 project which i have been pioneering the past 4 months, which sees a major overhaul to it with the ambition of a great many interesting models to choose from. Other bits about me, i'm a passionate artist who has been drawing fan art since the time i started doing map-work which some know me for. Heres a piece of my last work i did for a friend, i am also a studying architect at Edinburgh Napier as most people who know me personally also know that i am a Scottish national. I hope this group can live up to the support and well being of Light's Dawn, i have seen too many clans rise and fall because of the lack of support. Overview With the passing of the invasion from the Hahaskan Empire threat one month ago, the war has led to countless strife and poverty within the Imperial Kingdom of Stars. With so few manpower and the various drafts, banditry has been able to cause mischief and run amok. These groups of bandits have formed from the various mercenaries and the aftermath of the war. What began as innocent behavior has recently blossomed into attacks to drive refugees out of camps and other acts of hostility. With their motives, means, and goals unknown, the Kingdom of Stars must answer the call to protect its people from this harassment- and discover why exactly this motley crew of mercenaries is in the north in the first place. Victory is necessary, lest the buffoonery displayed by the Vellrose Crime Family will spread all across the kingdom of stars. Walter Vellrose was a noble in life, possessing control of a manor up near the capital city of the Kingdom of Stars in the days before warring nations broke out. With the chaos of the Hahaskan Empire, Walter was slain in combat and his manor forgotten about largely. When he was risen by his comrades after being brought to the Highlander Vampires, the ruthless and irritable man was able to amass a certain wealth in his newfound death. Despite this, he did not enjoy the benefits of station that he did in life. His plans turned towards reclaiming his manor and moving up in rotter society, but he ran into a problem- no-one in the Highland Vampire's military hierarchy really cared or thought a random mansion in Kingdom of Stars was particularly worth troop commitment. Vellrose, ever scheming, scoffed at this notion and decided to find a mercenary company to assist him- and found the Vellrose Crime Family. Sally Boltsprocket is the namesake of the company- and with good reason. She drives a hard bargain and keeps the wide range of cultures and races in harmony, or at the very least not trying to eat each other alive. Literally. She is the Director of Operations and her word is law, ensuring that the mercenaries never get burned on a deal- though this is likely because her coffers are filled from preventing this. Thick is a burly creature, even among Njordsir. As the company's acting Field Commander and enforcer, Thick's massive Njordsir fists and disposition towards violent haymakers has ensured that internal disputes are ended quickly and orders are followed at least by the third time they're given. Cold, quiet, and giving off an aura that he's probably killed someone for talking about his beard wrong- Thick is definitely the solemn bruiser of the group. Eregund Bandalthar is a shining testament of the tenacity and stubborn nature of dwarves. Eregund discovered his aptitude for magic and happily began the process of applying to Kingdom of Star's University- which summarily told him in no uncertain terms that he would not be getting in. Frustrated and confused, Eregund continually applied over and over- a common phrase at the end of each application being "Please respond." His anger grew with each failed attempt at procuring training in the magical city and he began to lash out violently at even the smallest of slights. After melting a hot dog stand in the Jewel Desert for looking at him wrong, Eregund decided to seek freelance work with only his self-taught training. He took a course in anger management and claims to be free of his former behaviors. Claims. Old Wellesley once served the Kingdom of Star's, saving dozens of soldiers from death's door over his tenure as an army surgeon. His calm bedside manner was praised by those who were operated on by him, their claims being that his plying them with drink and asking them what their relationship with their father was like ultimately drew their attention away from the bone saw amputating their arm. Wellesley's service was ended when he was discovered casually drinking anesthetic, but he continues his healing with the crime family. Paige, in life, was a very loud and boisterous person. So much so that when she was caught sneaking around a noble's estate in the Highlands to steal his jewelry- he recognized her voice anywhere. His guards executed her, but not before sewing her mouth shut so that they could all at least have five minutes of peace without the constant yapping. Some years later, Paige was raised into undeath as a Vampire, and spent a deal of time in the service of the Terrad Draco. The other Vampires found her silence and nosy nature grating and she never really found her place in society, so one day she set off on the road. Finding the Crime family, she instantly felt as though she belonged- the egocentric and overly dramatic mercenaries could do all the talking for her.   7. Kingdoms of Terfall; World Conflict

    I'll just put this up here for others to read if they wish. As most people know i am one the current map editors and original formulator of the Rp map "Titan Land Kingdoms of Terfall" which currently i have been working on its final version 3.0 to be completed. However, recently i have been thinking of a new map to try to work on after TL Kot is completed, the basic idea of this map is a open-world melee were players can choose a faction from a list of all potential ones and try to conquer the world from other players. Inspired by the map "Warhammer, Old World Conflict" the difference my map will have is that it will feature my lore just as TL KoT does. Another thing this map will push is the possibility of each faction having branching paths so the player can choose which path to take which can alter their entire army and ethics.
